Some people recommend that you generate leads on social media- Remember, you don’t control traffic on social media so you should lead your social media traffic to where you can control them- your blog.

Tip 2 – Capture your leads
This is what you use to get your email addresses of your traffic/leads. Your blog should be set up to have an opt-in form or lead capture page where people can enter email address and get on your list. To improve the chances of your leads putting in their email address, you should offer freebie for their email address.
It could be in form of an e-book, a video series, audio that addresses a pain that your traffic is experiencing.
Tip 3 – Communicate with your leads
You will need an auto responder to easily communicate with your list. This you must not fail to do. It is said that “the money is in the list” and to further clarify that, the money is in building a relationship with the list. People buy and do business with people they know, like and trust. Regular communication with your list will build this relationship. Remember to lead with value, it’s not about pitching your list at every opportunity but rather, give them value much more than you sell them something. Soon they become your raving fans and will buy and keep buying from you.
