Here's a typical scenario, something that happens every day. You put up a website, write great web copy, think of equally great content to supplement the copy, you offer a product on that site, promote the website, and then sit back and wait for the dollars to come. But every now and then you can send product offerings so you can earn from your list. And since these people share the same interest as you have and as with the topic of your website, they are more than likely to purchase something from you. That beats out selling a product just from a static website.
