Tips To Ensure Your Success When Writing An Article
In this article I am going to outline a couple of things you can do to ensure your success when writing an article. I will show you a simple formula you can use with choosing keywords and how to use them.
A Simple Article Marketing Formula
Let us first look at a simple strategy which you can use. Once you have researched your topic and you have decided what you would like to write about, it’s time to look at keywords.
Why Are Keywords Important
Keywords will help the search engines find and list your article in their results page. This happens when a user types in your keywords into a search engine. Now depending on the competition for your keywords, your article will be listed in the results.
Keyword Selection
So, the best strategy to use would be to find keywords that do not have very much competition, but on the other hand, they are being searched for in a search engine. You can find all this information when you do your keyword research using a tool such as Google AdWords. It’s free to register an account with them.
Use Your Keywords In Your Title
This is important because the title is the first place that the search engine looks at when deciding where to list your article. You can add a few words before or after the keywords you have chosen. Let us look at a simple example.
If you are using the keywords, “How to fix a toilet leak”, you can add a few words before and after so that the title looks more interesting. For example:
“Here Is How To Fix A Toilet Leak Without Flooding Your Bathroom”
The keywords have still been used but are now within the body of the tile. This makes it look more interesting and more readable.Using a longer more descriptive title will give you more chance of your article being read!
So remember, wrap your keywords using other descriptive terms, but do not break those keywords up by writing words in between them! Then they would not count as your chosen keyword phrase.
So the strategy is simple, you must choose low competition keywords, which people are searching for in the search engines, using a tool such as Google AdWords. Then use those keywords in the title of the article. Wrap those keywords with more descriptive words to make your title longer and more readable, but do not break the keywords up.
Using these techniques, I am sure you will have more success when writing an article.
