The Importance of Capturing E-Mails and Following Up
So you have a killer website and you have an amazing sales pitch but while you may be raking in a little bit of cash and making some sales, if you're not capturing e-mails you are losing a ton of money. Think about this for a minute and analyze your website. If you've got a website that people like so much they're willing to spend money on a product you're selling or promoting, do not you think that if you captured people's emails you could be making a lot more by sending them information on other products?
I'm not saying it's a necessity to capture email addresses to make money, but this definitely will help you in the long run and I'm not saying it's even required to be successful and when you think about how much money you could have made from all those customers if you only had been sending them emails on a regular basis. This is a very important feature in internet marketing because having a list in my opinion is one of the most powerful tools you can have with affiliate marketing.
A simple opt in box asking people to subscribe their emails for a free trial, or for a letter letter or even for free updates on your website are just a few of the ways to go about this, because there's definitely no end to how you market with a list of emails. If you have a potential customer who is interested in a product of yours, do not you think it's going to be quiet easy to get them interested in what you could offer as well? This is where capturing the potential customers email comes in, because if you can sell something to a customer once, you can do the same again and again.
There really is no limit to how many times you can have a customer make a purchase from your email list rather than only winning one sale off of your website. So while email marketing definitely is not required to make a lot of money online, it is a great way to keep customers purchasing new products.
