How many times have you heard the phrase, " The Money Is In The List ". Probably enough times to make your head spin, yet this process still remains a mystery to most marketers. Or maybe it's not a mystery just a tedious chore.
This article will hopefully take the hum drum out of list building and give ideas of how to make this process fun and easy.
1) There is no need to build a list with the traditional opt in form. Sign up for a twitter account and in your advertisement, article , press release , etc invite people to follow you on twitter. This is a great way to build a list and keep in touch with your readers.
2) Build a list by writing articles . Place your article on your blog and have readers subscribe through RSS feed. What better way to build your credibility and position yourself as an expert.
3) Another great technique is using videos to build your list. Make informative videos and invite others to subscribe to your channel so that readers can be informed when new videos are available. There are millions of people visiting video sites daily like You tube and you can build a massive list with " how to videos ".
4) Using social networ k sites is another great way to build a list. Join groups that are related to your product and service and invite group members to become your friend and you can send them to your site to accept a free gift and is valuable to them or their business. Once they've become a friend, keep in touch with them through your blog entries on your social networking site, through twitter or keep your events and bulletin board inviting.
These are just a few of the techniques that can make list building easy and fun.
