Practical Article Marketing Tips – Here Are 2 Traffic Generating Article Writing Strategies
Article Marketing is a great way to generate endless waves of traffic with your content. Here are two powerful strategies to use with your articles.
Strategy 1 – Using Chunks of Text
Sometimes chunks of text are paragraphs. Sometimes they’re bullets. Sometimes they’re numbered lists. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s chunks of text.
What I see a lot of people do is they get so excited because they’ve finally written their article that took them three weeks to write and now they’re going to submit it. They just want to grab the thing and stick it in there in the article body and away they go.
No. A ‘glommed together’ (how’s that for a new internet word?) bunch of text conveys the psychological impression that this is going to take a long time to read and it’s going to be difficult to read. You don’t want to give that impression at all. You want to give chunks of text broken up to increase the flow of the article.
This whole thing is about giving good content and keeping the flow going.
Strategy 2 – Using Pull Quotes
There’s a little function up there in the navigation bar or the toolbar up at the top of your EzineArticles body submission area that you need to know about and use! With this tool you can highlight a sentence or a couple of sentences, click on ‘Pull Quote’ and it takes those words and puts them in the middle of the article standing out in quotes.
You should do that with just about every article. Use it with the most important sentence or the sentence that’s going to get them to take an action or the sentence you want them to act on. It breaks up the article, it flows better, and it highlights your information.
I don’t know why more people don’t use that. I guess they don’t know about it because it’s right up there in the toolbar. Use pull quotes to give the most important information or an action you want them to take or something you really, really want them to see.
And this will help you generate more traffic with your articles.
