Network Marketing Success – How to Overcome the 3 Barriers to MLM Success With Internet Attraction
Most experts will admit that one of the fastest and best ways to large incomes is network marketing. The reason many of these same experts are not generally recommending MLM as an income source is that only a small percentage of those who start an MLM business succeed. The percentage of those that succeed is really not much lower than those who succeed in any other type of small business. The majority of small businesses fail in just a few years.
If this sounds depressing, don’t worry. It’s actually good news. If you understand what causes network marketing businesses to fail you can overcome these issues and be on your way to success. The Three Barriers
So what are the three barriers? Well the first one is finding enough leads to talk to. Anyone who has spent any time at all in MLM has had the feeling that they have No Friends Left. Most have purchased leads at great expense that they called or emailed, only to find out that they are at least the fifth person to contact that lead about a new business. How do we find quality leads that don’t cost us an arm and a leg?
The second barrier is time. To talk to enough people to build our business, usually while working full time, is next to impossible. This is especially annoying when 99% of those we talk to are not interested and half of those don’t tell us that until we have invested a considerable amount of time (and money). Email has helped, but time is still a big issue.
The third and final barrier is money. Network marketing often takes a fair amount of time (months or years in the old model) before we start receiving large enough checks to quit our full time job. In the meantime we are spending money marketing our business. Often network marketers run out of money to market before they reach business success.
Solutions to the Three Barriers
OK, those are the barriers, but you read all this to find answers right? Well here they are. The answer is a new concept in network marketing called attraction marketing. The idea is to attract large numbers of prospects to you using proven techniques on the internet. These are people that are already looking for what you have to offer. In other words, they are pre-qualified.
You are spending a small amount of time getting good information like this article on the internet and attracting large numbers of people. These will be people that already know you through your information and have a much higher level of trust in YOU than some lead you bought and called on the phone or emailed. With the right tools much of the sorting process is handled by your computer. And it is important that these be simple instructions that even a computer novice can follow, because even if you are computer savvy, some of your leads will not be.
