I can’t lie, when I started off in Internet Marketing, like many others I didn’t bother with building a mailing list – big mistake!
As I have since found out building a mailing list should be the number one priority for any business and it should be set up right from the start.
You don’t get a second chance to add all of those subscribers that you have missed.

There are three main elements to setting up a mailing list:
1. The resources you need like hosting, a domain name, squeeze page, content and an autoresponder. Most of these are very cheap and you could get yourself set up for around $20.
2. The marketing, do you use free traffic like article writing, SEO or paid traffic like PPC, solo ads, PVV, etc. The marketing is the most crucial element because without traffic you are dead in the water, in my link at the bottom of this page is a ton of resources for getting more traffic.
3. The testing, this is vital to make sure that you make the most out of every single visitor to your site. Testing can really make the difference between getting $1 per subscriber or $5, amounts to a lot of money when you have a few thousand subscribers.
It sounds really simple, and it is, although many people over complicate the process and never get started.
Once you get good at setting up a mailing campaign then you will find there are many well paid opportunities to set up these campaigns for other people.
