List Building for Coaches: Ask Other People to Help You Add Subscribers
When you decide to build a list of subscribers to help you get more coaching clients, you do not have to do it alone. That may surprise you, but there are a few groups of people who will help you grow your list. As coaches we tend to like win-win situations, so in this article we are going to look at a few such situations where your win is in growing your list.
Once you have set up your free giveaway, have your opt in page in place and your autoresponder ready to go (then all you can then learn by following the link at the end of this article) then all you need to do is get people who will find your offer valuable to visit your page and sign up. Sounds simple, right? Well it can be, especially if you can get other people to help you.
Think of other people in your niche who offer products or services complimentary to yours. They may well be willing to promote your giveaway to their clients and followers. Of course we're looking for a win win situation here so so you will need to provide some value in return. It may be as simple as a straight cross promotion where you will promote them in return for their promoting you, or there may be some other benefit you can offer in trade.
If you would like to enlist the help of larger players in your industry then you will need some value to offer in return for their promoting you. One common way to do this is by offering a product for sale, an eBook or home study program. The big player Promotes your giveaway to their list, so you gain subscribers and who will buy your product, and they get a percentage of the profits.
Social media contacts can also be a great team of people to help you promote your giveaway. Make sure that your pages are set up so that people can 'like' your free giveaway. Ask your social media friends to retweet your promotions.
Do not forget too, that current and previous clients can be some of your best promoters. If they are not already on your list, invite them to join and also ask them to let others know about your free giveaway. They can be a great source of referrals since they have already experienced the results you help people achieve.
