Is Email Marketing Cost Worth The Money?
It is no doubt that the money is in the list and email marketing is one of the top ways to gain traffic and sales to your website, as long as you know what you are doing. The question is, though, how much will email marketing cost and is it really worth the money?
The first thing we need to discuss is what email marketing can bring you and what type of email marketing we are focusing on. We are not going to focus on bulk marketing where you buy someone else’s list and send out a message to them. We are going to focus on building your own list and marketing to it.
Email marketing to your own list can bring you huge profits. If you have an average list of 1,000 subscribers that have all opted in to receive your newsletter, recommendations, or whatever else you are sending out and you can get a 2% purchase rate per message you would be able to get 20 extra sales per email you send out.
If your Average profit from one sale is $20, then you would make $400 extra every time you sent out an email to your subscribers. Remember, that these are not high estimates, and in fact, they are probably a bit on the low side. If you market to your list properly you will achieve a 10% or higher purchaser rate and that would give you $2,000 extra from your email.
So how much will it cost you to set up and maintain this type of marketing? Email marketing costs very little if you do it right. It will cost you a little bit of your time setting it up, but once it is set up it can be automated.
You will need an auto responder which will range from $19.95 – $99.95 depending on your needs. I don’t think you should spend more than $30 on an auto responder. There are plenty of them that work very well for under $30.
The only thing left is to set up your list and add your messages in the order that you want them sent to anybody that signs up for your list. The only real cost you have is some of your time and the month fee for your auto responder. Email marketing cost is low enough that it is 100% worth every penny you will invest.
