Internet Marketing Tips-Zeroing In On Your Target
Wouldn’t it be great if we could create or find a product and sell it to anybody we met in the street? Life would be wonderful. Unfortunately, the best widget in the world is of no use to somebody who has no need for a widget. Trust me, I’ve seen plenty of great widgets out there that I have no intention of buying. And yet, there is somebody out there who WILL buy that widget. And that is the focus of this article…finding that person who wants YOUR widget. It isn’t as hard as it sounds. This article is going to show you just a few of the many ways to find your target market.
One way to zero in on your target is to go where they are, forums. People love to hang out in forums. There is a feeling of camaraderie. They share their success and their failure. It’s a place where you can get a lot of support. It’s also a place where the smart marketer can find out what this person is looking for. Say you’re in the Internet marketing make money niche and you head over to one such forum to discover that people are searching for a better autoresponder service. Maybe you’re a programmer. Maybe you know somebody who is. This is an opportunity for you to either create something on your own or with another person. All you have to do is keep your eyes and ears open to what people want.
Another way to zero in on your target is to go to Ebay. eBay is a gold mine when it comes to knowing what people want. They’ve got lists there of what all the hottest selling items are. Just take a look at some of the stuff that people are paying for. Maybe you’ve got some of it. If not, maybe you can get it or create it. You don’t have to be a genius to figure this out. If everybody and their grandmother is buying the latest Xbox, then if you can get your hands on a wholesaler who has a bunch, you’ll make a killing. It’s really that simple.
Finding out what people want and what they’re buying really isn’t hard online. There is so much information all over the place, including the places I’ve mentioned and search engines. Go to Google and look up just about anything you can think of and you’ll find tons of information on it.
Zeroing in on your target market is as easy as hitting a bulls eye with a bazooka.
