While it is great to occasionally sit back and enjoy the fruits of your hard work and temporary success, do not fall into a pattern of complacency and laziness. This occurs especially in new internet marketers who have found their first consistently profitable campaign. Instead of continuing to analyze, tweak, and optimize their campaign to squeeze out every dollar possible, they often move onto "greener pastures" in search of the next successful campaign. While it is a good habit to constantly looking for new revenue streams, do not abandon a winning campaign before it has reached maturity.
If you are not using PPC software, you bought to still be using analytics software such as Google Analytics or SiteMeter. With software such as these, you can establish goals for your website. By analyzing this data, you can make changes to your content, layout, and other factors in order to optimize profitability.
