There are many important tools used by the online marketing marketers for increasing sales with customers worldwide. Marketing through email is one of them. After the creation of the website, the internet marketer focuses on increasing the traffic on his website. When serious buyers express their interest in the product by leaving their name and email-id on the website, the internet marketer responds by sending emails about the products and services among other marketing tools which are used in internet marketing business. However, there is an ongoing dispute between different online marketing experts and gurus about the quantity of emails one can send to customers per week; which can help in converting a window shopper as a potential customer. If the number of emails is low, the chances are that these prospective customers will forget about the products and services and will lose the interest in product and services eventually.
If the number of emails is very frequent, the would-be customers will get irritated due to the spamming of his email inbox and will unsubscribe from the website and the website will lose a prospective customer. Of course, people who still do not unsubscribe end up buying the product and the services in online marketing.
It is very hard to estimate which Internet email marketing will help in making a sale. So the debate on this issue rages on and on. There are no hard and fast answers to how much importance marketing through email has as a marketing tool and what is the optimum number of the emails which should be sent to the bidding customers to make it an effective tool in the online marketing trade. Meanwhile every online marketer experiments with this tool and tries to find the effective method.
