How to Find Out What Happens to Your Articles Once You Have Submitted Them
When marketing via Article Marketing, it's not always a simple exercise to work out the impact on the article had on its readers. Sure you can see the stats which show you how many people read your article, clicked on the URL in your resource box and how many people published the article, but that's about all you know.
What if you knew a simple and easy way to find out for sure what people were doing with your article?
Well there is and here's what you need to do:
1. Write your article and submit it to an article directory such as EzineArticles (of course!).
2. Go to Google Alerts (just search in Google for it!) Set up alerts, entering the titles of each of your articles in the Search Terms box.
3. I leave the other settings as they are, and have them delivered to my email address on a daily basis.
4. When I receive my daily Google Alerts updates, I check out whether it's my article that was found, where it was posted and of course where the publisher of the article kept everything intact.
Using Alerts like this helps you to check out your competition too. You can type in an alert with your main key phrase as the search term, and you can find out what other websites in your niche are doing.
This is also a great way to find ideas for content for your website, especially if the content is a current talking point in the news – you can review or comment on the article you found on a site as part of your post.
There are so many things people can do make online marketing easier.
