Other people struggle to find their niche and do not make money. They are not sure what will make money and they scatter their efforts in many different areas without much direction or guidance.
Affiliate niche marketing focuses on helping people in very specific targeted markets. Think about how you use search engines. When you want specific information, do not you type in more words and very specific words. For example, if you were a Star Wars fan and wanted to purchase a light saber for your son's birthday, you would probably type in "Star wars light saber" into the search engine. You would check the first organic search engine result and see if they were selling what you wanted.
You can find niche markets by typing a word into Google and seeing what other common terms people are searching for online. Some of them already may have hundreds of websites. Check out the competition and see what is out there.
For some free ideas, you can head to your local library's magazine section. Magazines are great niche marketing tools. The research has already been done for you. If you pick up a woman's magazine, you might notice the different products that are being advertised. This is because they are relevant to the targeted audience. Someone may not be interested in one product from you, but they may be interested in something related to that niche.
Another great way to find profitable markets is to join an online affiliate marketing forum and see what other successful marketers are talking about and promoting. You can jump on board and promote some of the same stuff, or change it up a little. Targeted markets are everywhere and they are how people make money online.
If you already have a hobby that you are passionate about, there are probably a couple niche markets that you can participate in. Check out some of the products already on the market and start promoting them.
