Google: AdSense, AdWords
What are two of the easiest ways to make money online? Google AdSense and Google AdWords. I’m going to discuss what each are and how you can profit off their powerful services.
First of all, you need to understand that this is not a get rich quick scheme and that you can’t get rich fast without the added effort. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!
1. Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a free, simple way for websites to make some extra money while displaying Google ads somewhere on their website’s pages. We’ve all seen those blue link text ads on almost every site we’ve been to, well, that’s Google AdSense at work. You get paid for displaying targeted Google ads on your site or blog. There are loads of information out there on how to effectively use these ads in your site, but the basic concept is simple. You just need to sign up for an account through Google AdSense and have a website or blog of your own to post the ads on.
2. Google AdWords
Google AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for both text, banner, and rich-media ads. AdWords is used for advertising. Advertisers select the words that should trigger their ads and the maximum amount they will pay per click. When a user searches Google’s search engine, ads for relevant words are shown as “sponsored links” on the right side of the screen. With a lot of work you can advertise your site or others as an affiliate through Google AdWords. The more traffic you get equals the more opportunities to make money.
