Getting The Most Out of Your Email CTR
Email marketing is a strategy used by internet marketers and direct sellers to get the words out about their products and their offerings. It brings in sales and traffic when done right. Because of the many mails going to a prospective client's inbox, some emails are not opened and read anymore. These mails go directly to junk. You can not blame these recipients since they mostly devote their time to so many tasks that they can not find time to open mails that do not even catch their attention and curiosity.
Email click through rate (CTR) should be given appropriate attention to succeed. Effective direct selling email platform is one method to get your mails read and noticed. Once you are able to have a list that opens your mails and your subject lines are notified, your emails will be read. Now, the next crucial progress you need to achieve is for your recipients to read and click through the links.
How do you get those clicks? There are actually simple things that you need to do. Sometimes, the simplicity makes us overlook them. First, make sure that your links look like links. There are times when we try to capture the elegance of our products and website that we try to make links appear elegant using fancy words. Problem is, the link does not appear like a link. If the recipient is not that versed in computers and internet, your link would most likely be ignored. Make your link look like a standard link, in blue ink and underlined.
Make your link above the fold. This means it should appear on the first one and a half inch of the email. This should ensure that the reader sees the link before he even thinks of not even reading the mail altogether. So, make sure you grab the opportunity to have your reader click that link that is within his two inches attention span.
Use a large font text link or create an html button that your reader will surely see and click than an image or button that says click here, enter, or submit. These buttons only work in a normal web page but not in an email.
Tell the people to click. Make it clear in your mail. Do not overuse it although for it might end up in the spam folder. Have a simple and direct to the point call to action in clicking an obvious link. For any image you will be using, maximize the use of the alt and title text. These are what appear underneath images. Make sure that even if the image does not load, the alt and title text show and that both invites your reader to click your link.
Use lots of link. Every text block should provide the reader a link to your landing page your website. The more opportunities you provide the reader to click a link, the higher the possibility he will. Check your text version to make sure every link works correctly.
Finally ensure that your mails pass a pre-send spam rater or else, all your effort will be useless. This direct selling email platform may increase your email CTR so use them appropriately.
