Flirting With a Guy – For Beginners
As a novice flirter, what are you supposed to know about flirting with a guy? Do you know that your body language could be speaking volumes in a negative way? Wouldn’t it be great if you could use your body to tell your dream guy exactly how you feel without saying a word? Now you can with these excellent tips for novices on the right way to flirt with a guy.
Tip #1 – Smile.
Smile like you just won the lottery, and the guy you’re trying to attract is the big prize. It’s so easy to smile, and the best thing about smiling is that it’s so subtle. You don’t have to bend over in a short skirt to get a guy’s attention. Smiling is oh so effective and so much more memorable.
A smile throws a halo around your face and lets a guy know that you’re a friendly person. It also shows him that you’re interested just in case he wanted to know.
Tip#2 – Make eye contact.
It doesn’t seem like it would make a big impression, but eye contact is a great way to flirt. It’s also one of the easiest things a novice can do to flirt with a guy.
Of course, it’s important to note that leering or gawking or undressing him with your eyes is not the same thing as making eye contact. All you need to do is catch his gaze and cling to it for a couple of seconds. Sometimes breaking a shared glance is the hardest thing in the world to do, and for those brief seconds, your guy will be pulled in by your direct glance and your beautiful smile.
Tip#3 – Don’t be afraid to touch.
Lightly touching his arm for a second while you talk is a great way to politely express your interest. If you are both rising from your seats at the same time and are positioned alongside each other, a properly placed hand on his shoulder, as though you need his help with stability, will let him know that you trust him and similarly, conveys your interest in him as a man. For clarity, please note that jumping in a stranger’s lap is not the same thing as a gentle touch on his shoulder.
Tip #4 – Be Natural with your flirting.
There’s a game plan for flirting, but you can’t rehearse it because it’s impossible to predict every detail of a future, personal interaction. Just be natural and be you.
Flirting is not a test; it is an experience. Remember novices, store these tips in your handy dandy “novice” notebook, and in no time at all, you’ll be painlessly flirting with a guy.
