1. The POS Offer!
I’ve been going to a dentist for well over 30 years. And you want to know something?
I’ve been asked probably 3 times if I’d like to re-book my next appointment.
No wonder why so many dental offices are as barren as a hot Nevada desert. To rebook someone, all you have to do is ask. It really is that simple. And don’t ask your patient if they would like to re-book.
Ask them when they would like to rebook.
These are two entirely different questions. That will get you entirely different results.
This technique is called the “point of sale” offer and is really powerful. Not because it is some flashy marketing gadget.
But because it’s simple. It’s direct. And it’s easy. But, what if your patient does not re-book? No problem, I’ve got that covered.
2. The Bounce Back Offer!
If they rebook (or not), you must pop a bounce back offer in the mail to your patient. Within 48 hours after their appointment.
And in your “bounce back offer”… you must offer something they could not say no to.
Like a free whitening tray. Or a free electric toothbrush. Or a free report. Or something. And to get their free gift, they have to agree to something you want them to do. Like filling out your bounce back offer by a certain date and faxing it back to you.
Point is, oftentimes there is no need to get fancy with your dental office marketing. All too often it’s the simple things that are the most effective.
