Can You Really Make a Living Doing Just Affiliate Marketing?
I remember when one of my current coaching clients came on board he asked me if the only people making money online are those selling "how to make money online" products.
I laughed. The VAST majority of people making a living online are NOT selling "make money online" stuff. In fact, it's one of the toughest markets to succeed in.
One of the Internet where many people, especially beginners are earning money is with affiliate marketing.
One of the biggest advantages is that you do not have to worry about creating products, doing product fulfillment, or any customer service hassles. You get to focus on just recommending quality products and building up a relationship and authority with the people in your niche.
There are a variety of methods you can use. You can write a blog and recommend products to your readers. You can create a website that does reviews or products in a certain industry. (Note: You do not want to recommend everything you review or people will not trust you if everything is the best product ever).
One of the most powerful and longest methods that you can implement is to build a list. Get yourself an autoresponder and create a squeeze page where you can bribe people to give you their name and email address (and whatever other information you'd like). Then you can email these people with information and recommendations.
Just using one of these methods can easily earn you a full time income if you're willing to put in the time to do it, but I do recommend that you try to use all of them in your business if you'd like to build a real, sustainable business for the long term.
