Why is blogging better than just advertising you business? Think about it for a second. When you blog, you get more in touch with the people- your potential customers. The frequent updates give them a feeling they have a way to get to know you. And this “personal touch” is a big V on the “important stuff” list…
There is nothing a customer likes more than getting the personal treatment. Once you give them that feeling that someone is there, a real living and breathing person, it will make them want to come back to your site. It will build their trust in you, because it shows a person who acts, who updates, gives new information, A person who cares – YOU.
When people have the option to speak their minds, to comment about your blog – that’s a trust building step. It creates some kind of a bond between you and your (potential) customers. And that bond is worth a lot.
Think of yourself in the customer’s shoes for a second. What would you like to see? Would you want a site updated once in a while or one that is updated frequently, even on a daily or weekly basis? Wouldn’t you like to have the opportunity to write what’s on your mind? Share your thoughts, and knowing that someone will actually read and take them into consideration?
