Become an Affiliate Marketer – It's Easier Than You Think!
The question many people still want to ask is 'Do I really need help?' The answer is a resounding YES. As affiliates, we are by nature fiercely protective of our independence, and many would still like to believe that they can become successful relying solely on their own resources, skills and ideas. However, this is simply not realistic and very often simply leads to frustrated attempts and burnout.
None of us live long enough to figure it all out by ourselves in internet marketing, work from home, and online marketing through trial and error. We are simply not gifted enough time in one lifetime to be able to gather sufficient independent experience to become masters of all the intricacies that successful affiliates partnerships. And it does not make any sense to be working away at trying to 're-invent the wheel', all the while losing precious time when we could rather skip this and frustrating process entirely and benefit from others' experience and knowledge. The biggest mistake that most affiliates (or the 'self employed', which is perhaps a more accurate description here) is that they get stuck in a rut, frantically trying to keep head above water in affiliate marketing, feeling that they could not possibly spare the time or money to invest in learning how to do things better. The truth is that investing in knowledge, and learning how to do things better and smarter than others who have already been where you are at the most time and cost effective way to up your game, grow your bottom line, and reap the rewards of REAL affiliates, from working from home.
I refer to affiliate marketing as a game because that's what it is – there are rules, players, fields, spectators, managers, referees, captains, coaches, support staff, suppliers and marketing activities in the game of affiliates just as in any other professional sporting game you can think of … and of course, just as in any other game, there is also the resultant score of either winning or losing, succeeding or failing. When we as affiliates are prepared to take stock of what we're doing in our businesses and see when we are not playing the game the best way possible, or very commonly, when we're trying against all odds to play a team sport alone , then we are able to accept help in changing what has been hindering our progress and learn techniques to better our approach.
The questions to ask yourself now are what game are you currently playing? Are you playing your best game with the support of your team behind you?
