Art of Making Money From a Blog
When you are blogging for profit, don’t do it directly. First build reputation of the blog. Get loyal visitors and then you can turn into whatever you want. You can keep it as non-profit helping blog or turn it into a cash cow. Don’t let people know that you are blogging for profit. If they know that you are writing all this for money, then they lose interest in your blog and ultimately you will lose the traffic and revenues generated by that traffic. The following are some of the tips to earn money from your blog.
Why hide it?
You should hide the fact that you are blogging for profit because it will turn readers away from your blog. A blog isn’t the same as a traditional website. You want the blog to be personal – it should seem like a real person is behind the blog.
You can still have a successful blog if it is obvious that the blog was created for profit. It’s a lot easier to have a successful blog if you hide it, though. I have learned this from experience.
How to hide it?
You should try to make your blog seem personal. You want to give readers the impression that they are reading a blog by a real person that makes mistakes, has opinions, and has feelings. There are many ways to do this, but we won’t get into those ways until later. Basically, it all depends on your content.
Your content should be high-quality and it should seem like a real person wrote it. This will not only make your blog seem personal, but your blog will also have better search engine rankings. The quality of content is important to having a successful blog.
Automatic posting plugin:
Since many people find it difficult to write the content on their own, they try to copy from other websites. Rewriting the articles and using an automatic posting plugin are some of the cheap tricks employed by these writers. You can profit a lot more if you drop the automatic content plugin. That plugin creates content that isn’t very personal. I suggest that you begin to practice writing on your own. It’s a great skill to have, and it can save you money when you don’t want to pay professional writers.
Write a Blog for recreation, not for business. Yes, you do get money but that should be a secondary goal else, you will end up in noting more than sand and stones.
