Affiliate Marketing – The Problems Newbies Face
For anybody wanting to either supplement their income or looking to progress towards a full time career working from home and making money using the internet, affiliate marketing is probably the easiest method to earn cash online. At first glance affiliate selling can look pretty daunting. After all, many people trying to break into this lucrative market may know nothing about such things as: Webhosting, domain names, blogging, social networking or Web 2.0. Then there are the other commonly mentioned buzzwords like: SEO, SEM, hoplinks, CTR and PPC. It can seem like another world to many people not familiar with the industry.
Now you can go about it the hard way, as I did, and spend many years researching, reading and experimenting using every tool and guide that you can get your hands on. One of the main frustrations is spending weeks learning a new skill only to find that as you continue on with a project you find something else you need to learn before you can progress.
You buy one product on using blogs as an affiliate selling platform then realize you know nothing about finding a product, keyword research and autoresponders. So you go out and buy three more guides and after reading all three you now have even more unanswered questions. It always seems that no one guide ever gives you the full story or instructs you how to earn cash online with affiliate sales from the start all the way through to making a sale.
Now there are some very good products available that will tell you what you need. But as I found out over the years, they are well hidden amongst the thousands of half-baked products that will leave you with more questions than answers. It is far too easy to completely blow your budget on instructional products before you ever get the chance to put anything into practice and make your first sale and following the wrong advice is likely to leave you broke, banned and disillusioned. One of the biggest breaks you will ever get in affiliate marketing is to stumble across a quality complete instructional product before you lose heart…or all your money.
