A Few Suggestions for Your Internet Business
There is no such thing as "Get Rich Quick" on the Internet. Believe me, I've tried many of those "opportunities", and all they have given me is alining bank balance and many sleepless nights.
To succeed in Internet Marketing you have to put in many hours of learning and practice in applying those lessons. It's all very well know what you should be doing, but if you do not "just do it" (to copy a phrase), you will go nowhere very quickly. Set aside a couple of hours a day to study and practice, and you will not go wrong. Remember too, even though you were not on that particular job, "Rome was not built in a day". All this learning and practice takes time and effort.
To succeed in Internet Marketing one needs a system to generate leads to your business or blog. Sites like Twitter and Facebook are great for doing this, but beware! Do not constantly use sales pitches, you will soon lose friends and followers. Most folk want information or chat, not product, from these social sites. My suggestion would be one link or sales pitch for every four posts. Remember most people hate being sold to, but love to buy. Never apply pressure in order to sell your product. People will buy when they are ready, not when you tell them to. Using social media to consistently pitch your product is a definite put-off.
Use the media to encourage people to visit your website, where they will be able to get advice on improving their businesses. Suggest opportunities to enroll in courses and other educational opportunities. Advertise your opportunities on your website, have an auto-responder system to take care of them, to capture their information and to assist in building a relationship with them. The more folk you can help to be successful, the more successful you will be. Never sell for the commission, and never try to fool people.
Lastly, be very wary of "Free" stuff on the Internet, promising thousands of leads, instant wealth with no effort etc., etc. If it sounds too good to be true – it is! While there are some useful free tools to help one, (Google, Twitter and Facebook to name a few), no-one can promise any sort of massive return.
Copying the professionals (with their full permission) is definitely the way to go. Learn all you can from the PRO's, they've been through it all. You can not beat a decent and applicable education.
